Born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey, I grew up around struggle, hustle, loyalty, and ambition — and all of that lives in my music. Producing since 2005 being equipped with an MPC 2000 and crates of his fathers records he and his best friend Robert 'RLJ’ Littlejohn developed a style a love for sampling and recreating from something else. Being inspired by producers such as Kanye West, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, The Neptunes, Alchemist, Cookin Soul, MF Doom and The Heatmakerz, Keith & RLJ started making beats for local artists. In 2018 they started ‘85 Music LLC as an independent label and production company. ‘85 representing the year of their births. With ‘85 Music they set out to continue to create, release, inspire and pay tribute to not only the music they grew up listening to and love but also the sports, tv, film & art that shaped the creativity.
